If you are among the many owners of a hot tub, then you know that upkeep and maintenance are a part of the package. Hot tubs are well designed, and made to last for a long time, but as with all things mechanical, it is possible for something to go wrong from time to time.
Some of the possible problems include faulty water jets and issues with the controls. Models with a self cleaning function can also have issues with this option. There are other possibilities, but these are the most common issues.
If you consider yourself a professional do it yourself individual, it may be possible for you to order the parts and repair it yourself. One word of caution though, when dealing with electricity you must use extreme caution. It is vital that all electricity be shut off to the unit before any work is performed.
If do not feel comfortable with repairing it yourself, there are many pool companies that have qualified staff that can come out and fix the problem for you.
Do not fear occasional hot tub repair. It is not as expensive as you think. Repairs can be made quickly and easily, and before you know it you will be enjoying your hot tub as though nothing ever happened.
