<p>1. Find out how many calories you need a day. If you workout what your body needs to maintain its current weight and then minus it by 300 you can aim towards weight loss. You can find tools on the internet to help with this.</p>
<p>2. Make sure that you eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. The nutrients are excellent for the body and they help you to feel full.</p>
<p>3. Make sure that you don&#8217;t eat huge portions. Large portions will stretch your stomach and whilst consuming too much food you cannot burn bodyfat.</p>
<p>4. Make sure that you don&#8217;t skip meals. Skipping meals will make your body go into panic mode and the next meal you eat may be stored as fat.</p>
<p>5. Make sure that you eat wholesome fresh foods. Stay away from prepackaged convenience foods that are high on fat and salt.</p>
<p>6. Find some inspiration. Dieting can be boring but if you read a <a href="http://chickandfit.com/" target="_self">fitness blog</a> or diet website it will help you to stay motivated.</p>
<p>7. Always read the food labels. You don&#8217;t want to be eating too much fat, sugar or simple carbs.</p>
